We slept reasonably well in the
Bann Pantai Resort in Cha-am.
Breakfast, with an espresso, also tastes good, just like yesterday.
The reports about the Covid-19 virus are becoming alarming.
Laos and Vietnam close the borders, and Tom has yet to leave Thailand because of his visa
waiver.
Our intention was to go to Vietnam.
Europe also closes its borders, but not to residents.
Airlines threaten to cancel flights.
We moved yesterday's plan to visit the
Sirindhorn International Environmental Park to today.
We drive there and luckily the park is open today.
We can just drive onto the army base and when we arrive at the park, it turns out to be a
kind of exhibition to make youth aware of the environment and its use by people.
It is very quiet, just like everywhere in Thailand.
There is also a trail through a mangrove forest, nice but very warm, and not well maintained.
We drive back to Cha-am and buy shrimps at the market, which we eat on our terrace in the hotel.
At about three o'clock the family arrives from Bangkok, and of course the children go for a swim
We don't feel like looking for a restaurant for a long time tonight, we are going to eat again at Coco Buono Bar & Bistro, where we also had dinner yesterday. Today we eat a cordon blue and pasta, it tastes good.Written on: 2020-03-20

This is not a travel guide, nor is it advice to visit a place or not.
There are other sites for that.
Our opinion about places where we have eaten, drunk or slept is not intended as a (positive or negative) assessment,
there are other sites for that.
It is our view of the situation at a certain moment and that view is influenced by our mood,
the weather and many other factors.
